Lip micropigmentation

Treatment that shapes and enhances your lips giving them a fuller, more
nourished look with the help of a semi-permanent pigment. Lip micropigmentation is intended for
those girls and women with a fast paced lifestyle due to which they don’t have time to apply
makeup everyday, but wish to look nice and nurtured for every occasion. It’s also recommended to
people with deformed or assymetrical lips, as well people who lost their natural lip pigment or
have very light lips.
The treatment is painless; the same technique is used as when doing powder brows, to accentuate
the rim of your lips, making them symetrical. Also, we accentuate the natural fulless of your lips
using a pigment that is suited to your skin tone, hair color and personal preferences.
PROCEDURE:
Treatment begins by applying an anesthetic which stays on your lips for 15 to 30 minutes. We then
sketch the rim of your lips free hand with a lipliner in the shade that complements your skin tone,
and sometimes making the lips fuller by sketching outside the rim of your lips.
Once you agree on the shade and shape of your lips, we then use the aparatus with the
microneedle to start adding the pigment. There is a wide range of shades to choose to make sure
your lips look the most matural. Shades range from powdery pink to classic red. The intensity of
the pigment depends on the amount of pixels we insert into the skin.
The treatment is painless and takes about 3 hours.
RESULTS:
It takes 2 weeks for your lips to heal after pigmentation, until the outer layer of your skin exfoliates.
Lip micropgmentation lasts for 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type.
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
If you are prone to cold sores, you will need to use anti-viral breakout medicine 3 days prior and
post the treatment. After the treatment you will be given advice on procedure post treatment and
we will schedule a refresh appoinment within 3 months of your first treatment. We also advise you
not to eat spicy foods, refrain from use of alcohol, aspirin- containing medications, ibuprofen, or
other blood thinning medications.
In terms of cleanliness, we make sure that all of our equipment is properly sanitized and the
needles are indivudially packaged, made for one time use. Hygene and safety is our top priority.
